Howard
Holtz was born in Ocean Township, NJ and attended Rutgers University.
He graduated from UMDNJ New Jersey Medical School with honors and
completed his medical residency at the University Hospital affiliated
program in Newark, New Jersey. He was Chief Medical Resident at
University Hospital in 1984. Dr. Holtz completed a United States Public
Health service commitment in an underserved health manpower shortage
area in Newark from 1984-1987. He served on the UMDNJ teaching faculty
until 1991 when he moved to Saint Barnabas Medical Center to become
Associate Chairman of Medicine. At Saint Barnabas, he founded the
Faculty Practice. In 2002 Dr Holtz established a full time private
practice at his current location.

Prato during his second year of medical school. They are the proud
